Reading Programme
In the Primary Wing, the Reading Programme is conducted in an engaging and interactive manner. Activities include:
- Storytelling sessions to enhance listening and imagination.
- Read-aloud sessions led by teachers and the librarian.
- Picture reading and story sequencing activities.
- Book mark making and book cover designing to link creativity with reading.
- ‘My Favourite Book’ sharing sessions to build confidence in expressing ideas.
- DEAR Time (Drop Everything and Read) to encourage focused silent reading.
- Reading Buddies (older students reading with younger ones) for peer learning.
- Thematic book displays based on seasons, festivals, and special days.
